Norina's Aria

My friend Kristen and I keep each other posted about dreams in which we appear to each other. Here's one that I adore, Kristen having sung the role of Norina in Donizetti's opera "Don Pasquale" several times in various venues. I had sent this description to her in an e.mail a few years ago.

"Just awoke from a dream where you and I were on a cruise ship collaborating on Norina's aria. You talked me through the entire aria, the one where she reacts so predictably to the book about Richard the Lionhearted, and then with great fanfare you returned to page one, where you had written an entire second verse to the whole aria, based on her reaction to a Flintstones comic book."
